STONES IN TIME
Time is the best protection which can be given to stone. Indeed, if this one is maintain without corrosive products (detergent, acid) or high-pressured water jet, a patina, the cullet, appears on its surface. It's a reaction of calcareous stones. This one naturally recristallize the calcium carbonate to assure its protection.

Use of detergents or acids products, or high-pressured water jet is strictly inadvisable for stones maintain (inside or outside).

Stones maintain can be provide by brushing them with water, black soap or Marseille's soap. In certain cases, it's possible to brushed stones with bleach water strongly diluted and then rinse them.
